Norimasa, the creator, likes animals, fish, insects, and other creatures, and also loves visiting zoos, aquariums, and museums. He expresses his passion for fish. Many fish are drawn with a felt-tip pen, which strongly reflects his characteristics.

The material used is 100% cotton which meets strict standards. This Furoshiki is friendly to both people and the environment.

Note: Small black spots can be seen on the fabric of this series, but they are left behind because the cotton has not been bleached to preserve its natural colour. Please enjoy them as the charm of natural materials.

Art Brut

Art Brut is Fine art in French. Existing artistic concepts and techniques, spring up urge and not fixed fashion. Its coined word for free expressed art. Three organizations that support and introduce artists collaborated with people with disabilities with Musubi, and making energetic Furoshiki was born. A portion of the sales will become profits for the artists.

Artist: NORIMASA HATTORI

He was born in 1971 and lives in Aichi. His unique perspective creates art with his sense of humour. There are lots of fun arts that are lively and attractive drawn with a felt pen. He participated in Asian Para art Tokyo in 2009.

Artbility

Artbility is income support for artists with disability. In 1986, the social welfare corporation Tokyo build the art library. Now 200 artists and 4500 high-quality works are registered in this library. 60% of the rental fee will be reduced for artists.
