Nike Men's Zoom Fly 4 Running Athletic Shoes Sneakers - Black Hyper Violet

The Nike Zoom Fly 4 for men are neutral competition running shoes. Next to looking closely at its predecessor, these fourth editions of the Zoom Fly draw a lot of inspiration from the legendary Nike Vaporfly. The Fly 4 is designed for running long distances at high tempos. Updates are especially found in the upper of the shoe, which now provides even better ventilation.

The upper is made of light mesh material. Thanks to this it is softer and provides more ventilation. This new upper moulds itself after the shape of your feet to provide a perfect fit. What's more? To ensure that you stay comfortable throughout, the upper material doesn't retain any water. Thanks to this your shoes will stay light in weight and your will feet stay comfortable. The lacing system of the shoes features a supportive band around the midfoot which offers stability and a snug feel without becoming too rigid.

The midsole of the Nike Zoom Fly 4 is made of Nike's popular React material. This material is well-known for providing a lot of energy return and a responsive ride. Fitted between the layers of React foam there's a carbon fibre plate. This plate pushes you forward during your runs and ensures a very responsive feel. Four individual fibres have been placed at the midfoot. These fibres have been integrated with the laces. When you tighten the laces the whole upper fits tighter around the feet and thereby the shoes ensure an adaptive fit. Thanks to this the shoes also have a sturdier fit than the third version of the model.

The heel of the shoe has been designed to relieve some tension from the Achilles tendons. Rubber parts have been added underneath the forefoot and heel to ensure the ideal combination between weight and grip. The rubber sole parts also increase the lifespan of the shoes.
