Nikka Miyagikyo Malty & Soft Distillery Limited Single Malt Japanese Whisky 500ml

Now Discontinued

Previously only available at the Miyagikyo distillery in Sendai, this expression was released as one of the annual distillery shop bottlings, adding to the rarity of the bottle.

Due to steam heat distillation, whiskies from the Miyagikyo distillery are known to be distinctively mild and fruity compared to the more powerful taste of Yoichi malts.

The Miyagikyo is a crowd pleaser, just ask Spirits Editor, Kara Newman, who gave this Miyagikyo her first ever full score describes it as being “a glass [she] didn’t want to put down, and… happily drained every drop.” The malty and soft is sure to satisfy even the most demanding whisky lover.

"A narrow malt that’s excellent. At times, there are echoes of Clynelish*.*" - Serge, Whisky Fun
