The Nubia Z20 comes with two displays. The front screen is a 6.42-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display. On the rear is a secondary screen that measures 5.1-inch diagonally with HD+ resolution (720x1520) and 330ppi. Besides its great design, another highlight is the latest Qualcomm processor. The Nubia Z20 is powered by the Snapdragon 855 Plus octa-core chipset with a burst frequency up to 2.96GHz.

For optics, the Nubia Z20 is equipped with a triple rear camera. The camera consists of a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera and a third 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom support. Like the Nubia Red Magic 3 Gaming Phone, it can record videos in 8K, slow-motion at 1920fps or HDR10 recordings.

Keeping the lights on is a large 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 support with 27W fast charging. The Nubia Z20 also supports Bluetooth 5.1, Dual GPS (L1/L5, dual band Wi-Fi and a wide range of 4G FDD-LTE bands and frequencies for worldwide usage. The dual-display smartphone is running Nubia UI based on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
