These spikes are made from SUS304 stainless steel that has been powder coated and is highly corrosion resistant. These are made to be installed in areas exposed to salt water environments. Each length has 2 predrilled oval slots at each end for easy attachment in a variety of different configurations. We recommend using stainless steel fasteners to secure each section with 2 fasteners. Any qualified contractor or even a good handyman should have no problem installing these beautiful expertly crafted Japanese security/fence spikes. By the way, they are extremely sharp and will definitely deter intruders while still maintaining a clean and discreet look.
