Clear, bright, light crimson purple. Crisp and lively florals, roses and lavender. Red berries, a touch of cinnamon and strawberry, with hints of spicy stalk. Juicy opulent red fruits and a lovely warming spice. Sweet, bright cherries complement soft, abundant chalky tannins. Great length of flavour.

Typically the spice in grenache sees it matching superbly with roasted meats and vegetables, stews and recipes with Asian flavours. Think roast turkey with lots of root vegetables or pork belly. And slow-cooked stews and braises in the winter can be a great pairing.
