OXO Venture French Press
Confidently take your french press coffee on the road with the OXO Venture French Press. Featuring a shatter resistant build, two points of filtration, and no-slip materials, it's actually one of the best 8-cup travel french press brewers out there.
You can count on a full-bodied and full-flavoured experience like with any press, but it's the construction of the brewer that really makes it stand out. Rather than glass, the main carafe is made with Tritan BPA-Free plastic that's extremely resistant to shattering. This makes it not only safe to use at home, but safe while traveling.
Basic French Press Instructions:
- Grind 50g of coffee at a coarse setting and pour into the carafe.
- Add 830ml of hot water to the french press, saturating all the grounds.
- Wait 3-4 minutes, then plunge the filter.
- Pour and enjoy.
The brewer also features two filtration points: (1) the standard dual plunger filters, but also (2) a spout-based filter. This still gives you a rich cup, but a slightly cleaner one.
Designed with no-slip handles, knobs, and casing, this french press is easy and comfortable to handle, which also reduces the potential for accidents. A window in the casing gives you the ability to see exactly how much water you've poured in or how much coffee you have left.
