Spain has its legendary paella that refers to both the large, round, shallow pan and the country's best known dish invented by rural workers as a hearty midday lunch prepared outdoors from ingredients at hand. This iconic dish is rice prepared with seafood, meats, poultry and / or vegetables. The wide, low design of the paella pan allows the rice to cook quickly over a high heat.

  • 30cm pan will feed approx. 4-6 people
  • 42cm pan will feed approx. 6-8 people
  • 46cm pan will feed approx. 10-12 people

On top of most stoves even the smallest pan will span 2 burners. A grill is a great way to cook paella as most are large enough to accommodate the size of the pan. Paella pans have a slightly convex base and for this reason they are not suitable for ceramic, halogen or induction stove tops as the heat will not be able to be transferred successfully.
