The Monkey Banana Lemur 5" series of professional monitor speakers supports active modelling. It has built in digital signal processing in combination with modelling technology, providing 6 different speaker presets. Why buy one pair when you can have 6! These versatile new monitors are equally useful as studio critical listening near field monitors, multimedia production or exuberant HIFI or A/V reproduction.

DSP Active Modelling Technology
The Lemur5 does have it's own signature sound, but on demand it can also sound like other well-known speakers. The built in DSP in combination with the modelling technology and its other components makes this possible. Next to 6 different speaker presets (labelled Lemur5, White Cone, Cube 5, DIN 8030, HiFi, and RKT 5), room compensation fine tuning functions like 3 step low cut, midrange bell filter, high shelfing filter and other features such as limiter on/off function, and standby on/off function are available. The standby mode is highly useful, after 12 minutes of no signal, the speaker turns to standby mode. As soon as signal is played again the speaker turns on immediately.

Quality Production
This 5 1/4 studio monitor is equipped with an aluminium tweeter to guarantee stress less mixing sessions with high resolution over a long period. Lemur5 speakers integrate a kevlar woofer for low frequency response, and are bi-amped class D powered.

Who are Monkey Banana?
Monkey Banana was formed in Germany in 2004 with a goal of creating audio products with exceptional design and engineering quality at a competitive price.
