The novella is a unique leafless shelling pea. The plant grows to 75cm tall and produces a large amount of shelling peas. It is a great choice for small home garden packets as it looks completely different to other pea varieties. Peas are ready for picking in approx. 70 days. This variety is powdery mildew resistant, and it can be grown with no support as it has a mass of tendrils instead of leaves.

Sowing Instructions

Sow in late Summer to Autumn, Need a minimum of 13-15oC to germinate. Soak in water for a few hours, Sow 20mm deep, 40cm apart. Emerge in 10-14 days. Grow indoors during extreme weather & transplant when mature. Harvest in approx. 70-90 days
