Pea Telephone is a very popular variety. Pea Telephone flowers over a wide period of time, allowing for multiple pickings. Great for the home gardener. Pods contain 6 to 8 peas. It can climb up to 2m on a trellis, they bear big, easy to see & pick pods. It's late maturing, handles heat very well and produces huge, sweet, buttery-tasting peas.

Also known as Alderman, exhibition standard, also suitable for dried peas.

Sowing Instructions

Sow in late Summer to Autumn, Need a minimum of 13-15oC to germinate. Soak in water for a few hours, Sow 20mm deep, 40cm apart. Emerge in 10-14 days. Grow indoors during extreme weather & transplant when mature. Harvest in approx. 70-80 days
