Currently the world's top ranked women's all-rounder, Ellyse Perry has solidified herself in the national cricket team across all formats, as well as with the NSW Breakers, and the Sydney Sixers in the Women's Big Bash League. Ellyse is the first player in Big Bash history, male or female, to reach 2000 runs.

In the 2017 Women's Ashes series, Ellyse scored 213 runs not out at North Sydney Oval. It is the highest individual score by any Australian in a Women's Test match. During the 2018 ICC Women's World T20 tournament in the West Indies, Ellyse became the first cricketer for Australia, male or female, to play in 100 T20 International matches.
