This is a magnetic flat plate that is designed to hold smaller electronic devices such as phones and radar detectors. By adding a 1" ball mount (eg. RAM-B-238U :: RAM 2.43" x 1.31" Diamond Base with 1" Ball) you can then also attach it to the RAM Mounts system allowing you to mount your device just about anywhere.

It includes one powerful rare earth magnet rubber cradle and two adhesive metal plates. To mount your device to the magnet you will need to attach one of the metal plates to the back of your device (see video below).
