The Campfire Aboriginal design mat in earthy brown, black and white comes from talented Aboriginal artist Angela Marr-Grogans range. Angela has been painting for over 10 years and is a Birpai/Biripi woman, with connections to the Dunghutti and Worimi people on the NSW mid-north coast. This design symbolises the importance of the campfire as a meeting place, as well as a source of warmth and nourishment.

The Campfire Aboriginal design mat in earthy orange, black and white is designed by Indigenous artist Angela Marr-Grogan. Angela is a Birpai/Biripi woman, with connections to the Dunghutti and Worimi people on the NSW mid-north coast. This design showcases the campfire as a meeting place, as well as a source of heat and cooking.

The Campfire design is based on the gathering of individuals around a central meeting space to share dreaming stories. This imagery makes this mat popular in childcare centres, schools or for family gatherings anywhere you want your own tribe to connect and collaborate. As a school mat, use Campfire for group time, helping children to arrange themselves in a circle to listen and share.

Available in three colour combinations, which represent connection to the land, Marr-Grogans design reminds us of the importance of sharing stories when it comes to understanding ones own, or other peoples, cultural heritage.

Recycled Mats works in consultation with Indigenous artists to create authentic, ethically produced Aboriginal design mats that celebrate cultural diversity and are culturally appropriate for use within and outside their communities.

Our Indigenous design floor coverings are easy to look after too. Spills wipe off with ease, whilst heavier soiling can be hosed off. Roll up your mat for storage or transportation as you move from home to the park, or from your lunch break to a study session.

Reconciliation Aboriginal design recycled mats in orange, black and white invite you to celebrate culture and the planet anywhere, anytime.
