The new 27.5 Trail carbon wheels employ the same design features of the Enduro wheels, but trim down the weight and dimensions to better match the needs of trail and cross country riders. The asymmetric rim design balances spoke tensions for increased durability, and the 25mm hookless rim channel dimension provides great tyre fit for more modestly sized tires. The new Reynolds centre lock hub provides ultra-quick, 3-degree engagement lending to the responsive feel of these wheels.

A key piece of technology in these Reynolds MTB wheels is the tubeless-ready rim channels for lower rolling resistance and a smoother ride out of the box. Another key element is MR5 (Mountain Rim 5) technology, which is the precise method of assigning different carbon fibre and lay-ups to 5 rim regions. Reynolds specifies type of fibre, epoxy and resin adjusting the specs to achieve the perfect tensile strength, stiffness and elongation for each rim model.
