Royal Salute 28 Year Old Kew Palace Edition Flask Collection Blended Scotch Whisky 700ml

Now Discontinued

The ceramic flagon containing this 28-year-old blended whisky features an illustration of Kew Palace by Jason Brooks, and the set also comes with a ceramic hip flask and funnel.

Inspired by Kew Palace and its magnificent kitchen garden, this superlative expression combines the knowledge of Master Blender Sandy Hyslop, with the olfactory expertise of Barnabé Fillion.

Together, they have pushed the boundaries of modern blending, fusing Royal Salute’s traditional notes with the flora from this iconic garden.

As you might expect, the nose is remarkable. Intense fruit with rich notes of ripe pear are enhanced by a hint of autumnal leaves and the delicate scent of violet.

The flavours are rich, round and perfectly balanced with sweet honey and scented flora. The finish is long, smooth and sweet with just a wisp of smoke.

"Fresh spring floral bouquets, white peach, and nectarine tumble with sweet caramel, dried cherry, white chocolate, fresh linen notes, and vanilla cake batter. Silky smooth with fresh summer fruits, the strong peppery spices push to the fore, but this is nimble, graceful, and displays a real lightness. Compelling, captivating blending for the Flask Collection by Sandy Hyslop, this has a fragrance you could enjoy all night." - Jonny McCormick, Whisky Advocate
