Saint James Royal Ambre 700mL Bottle

A Rhum Agricole from the island of Martinique, Saint James Royal Ambre is the youngest of the distillery's barrel aged offerings. Aged for a minimum of a year and a half in 200 litre Limousine oak barrels, Royal Ambre is a youthful spirit that borders on being exuberant. Like most Agricole Rums it has a grassy nature with the taste of raw sugar cane juice being dominant. Thankfully this is well moderated in Saint James Royal Ambre by the floral notes and woody spices that the smaller oak barrels imbue it with. Makes a flavourful mixer for those who enjoy a slight rum bite in their cocktails.
