The SCARPA ;Veloce is an indoor-specific climbing shoe for beginner to intermediate climbers.
Instead of being flat and stiff like most beginner shoes, the Veloce is soft and slightly downturned. These shoes will be more comfortable and perform better at indoor climbing and bouldering on slippery plastic footholds and steeper overhanging walls.
The Veloce features:
- PAF (Pressure Absorbing Fit) heel system - provides flexibility and reduces pressure on the Achilles tendon
- Relaxed Perforance Fit - extra space in the toe box for comfort during extended wear
- DTS Active Rands ;- dual medium-tension rands that ;help ;focus the power of the foot forward onto the big toe
- FKJ last ;- slightly downturned and slightly asymmetric for climbing on overhangs and plastic holds indoors
- Z-strap closure - quick and easy to get on and off and adjust
- Microsuede upper - maximised seamless comfort and minimised stretch for a better fit
- Flexan 1mm midsole - minimal midsole to keep the Veloce softer than other beginner shoes
- S-72 4mm outsole - provides adhesion to even the smallest of footholds while remaining ultra-durable
