Shiso can be used in various dishes, including salads, soups, and stir-fries & garnish for sushi and sashimi. How to Grow
For best germination, cold-stratify seeds by storing them in the fridge for three days before sowing, and soak the seed overnight in warm water. Sow in spring or after frost at 3-4mm deep, 30cm apart. Germination in 1-3 weeks at 21-24oC. Maturity in 10 weeks. Store excess seeds in the fridge in a tightly sealed, moisture-proof plastic clip lock bag.
