Slipknot No. 9 Small Batch Iowa Whiskey

No. 9 Small Batch Whiskey is a collaboration between heavy metal band Slipknot and Cedar Ridge Distillery, both based in Iowa. A blend of 3-4 year old straight rye and straight bourbon mashed, fermented, distilled and aged at the Cedar Ridge Distillery. In addition to Iowa corn, this small batch gets some extra spice from its rye content.

Nose: It begins quite floral, with hints of honeysuckle and lily. Then, corn and caramel hit.

Taste: Cornbread, jalapeno, apple butter and a hint of charred marshmallow.

Finish: Medium finish with a hint of chocolate.
