Our solar light will automaticall turn ON when it is dark and OFF when it is bright. That means when in daytime, it wouldn't turn on even you switch it to ON mode. If you want it work in daytime, please use a piece of paper, cloth or something else to cover the solar panel and it will stop charging and work.
