Springbank 10 Year Old Palo Cortado 2023 Release

Springbank 10 Year Old Palo Cortado, distilled in July 2013 and aged in Palo Cortado casks for 10 years before being bottled in 2023 at a generous ABV of 55%.

Nose: Chocolate covered raisins, caramelized nuts, lots of nuts, salted caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg, spicy oak chips, some earthiness and red fruits.

Taste: Oily, dark honey, nuts, lots of wood, leather and a bit of tobacco, chocolate, orange, salted caramel, cocoa.

Finish: Quite long, nutty, woody, slightly mineral, tobacco, leather.
