This is the 2013 release of the Springbank 21 Year Old. The Springbank 21 gold boxed edition was released in 2012, marking the first time a 21 year old whisky had been produced by the distillery since 2005. It was matured for 21 years in a combination of bourbon barrels and sherry casks.

Nose: Lemon, cardamom, sugar, more medicinal notes (camphor). Citrus fruits, yellow fruits, white fruits, eucalyptus, mint.

Taste: Very lemony, fresh and vegetal with a certain sweetness.

Finish: Long, lively, intense on the mineral and citrus fruits.
