Springbank distillery is located in Campbeltown, a picturesque Scottish town situated at the southern end of the Kintyre Peninsula on the glorious west coast.

The first reference to Campbeltown whisky is recorded in writing in 1591. Springbank was established in 1828 on the site of Archibald Mitchells illicit still, becoming the 14th licensed distillery in Campbeltown. Today, Springbank is one of only three distilleries operating in the Campbeltown area and is the oldest independent family-owned distillery in Scotland.

A unique blend by J&A Mitchel in Campbeltown aged for 21 years.

Nose: Light. Yellow apples, pickled pears, some mint and grass. cashew nuts. Sawdust. Lemon cookies.

Taste: Soft. Mealy apples, light grapes. White chocolate. Some walnut and a hint of old newspapers.

Finish: Long, sweet sherry, some alcohol.
