The 2022 season treated the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes well, with steady mild weather supporting an even development and ripening process. Occasional spring rains and mild temperatures allowed the grapes to naturally express their vibrant flavours. This Cab Sav was carefully crafted, undergoing fermentation in open vats to capture its full-bodied nature, rich tastes, and deep colour. Ageing in both French and American oak barrels has given the wine a solid tannic backbone, adding to its complexity.
