Suntory Yamazaki Baisendaru Jikomi Umeshu 660ml 14%

The plum liqueur is aged in toasted refill casks that were used to store Yamazaki whisky. Flavour absorbed from the casks imparts a pleasantly acerbic note and the matured liqueur has an aroma reminiscent of whisky. This creates a plum liqueur with moderate sweetness that melds a distinctive flavour with well-rounded tones.
Nose: Overripe stone fruits, caramel and brandy, Manuka honey.
Palate: Ripe ume (plum), sweetly scented brown sugar,
delicate oak notes and a whisper of Yamazaki malt.
Finish: Silky mouthfeel with a soft and rich aftertaste.
