The Sureflap Microchip Dual Scan Connect Cat Door will identify cats using their unique identification microchip, unlocking only for your cat when they enter the home and preventing intruder cats from gaining access to your home. The benefit of the dual flap is that it allows you to restrict some pets to indoors only, while others are allowed outside and back in again. The Sureflap Microchip Dual Scan Connect Cat Door does not require a collar as it is compatible with all common identification microchips & RFIP collar tags and can even store up to 32 microchip numbers. When used together with the Sureflap Connect Hub, you are able to remotely access the cat flap to control entry and exit, as well as to check up on your pet's comings and goings through the flap. The Sureflap Microchip Dual Scan Connect Cat Door runs on 4 AA batteries with a battery life up to 12 months. When the battery is running low, the battery indicator will flash to let you know it needs training.
