Tamburlaine was established in 1966. In 1985 the Hunter winery was purchased by a small group of friends and relatives led by Managing Director, Head of Grape and Wine Production, Mark Davidson. Mark has built his long-term winemaking philosophy aroundContemporary Organic practices in the vineyardand the winery. Through years of researchand development, we have become one of Australia’s largest producers of organic wines withvineyards in the Hunter Valley and Orange region.

Named after Christopher Marlowe's famous play and character ‘Tamburlaine the Great’,wework toleadthe way withour Contemporary Organics vision, successfullyproducing award-winning organic, vegan-friendly,low sulphur and no added sulphur wines.

Wines made without the addition of "preservatives", from grape to bottle No Added Sulphur wines have no sulphur dioxide (additives 220 or 224) added, but may still contain minute amounts of naturally occurring SO2,as long as it measures under the allowable threshold of 10 parts per million.So, more accurately,they are**"No Added Sulphur"**wines.

The earliest pick of white varietals, harvested mid-February. High altitude, organically managed vineyards. Aromas of fresh green apples, tropical fruit, and a hint of vanilla. A refreshing, lively wine with a persistent fine bead.

High 'n' Dry**|** x 4

Tamburlaine High and Dry Cuvee is a delighfully fresh sparkling wine made from Organic Chardonnay grapes. This is full of flavours of green apples, rock melon, honey dew melon, peach and nectarine. Perfect for your next celebration.
