Tasmanian Eucalyptus Honey has a smooth texture with a warm and distinct, earthly flavour. It is 100% natural in the sense that it is carefully gathered from beehives in eucalyptus forests which largely occupy the southeast part of Tasmania.
Eucalyptus Honey has a normal honey color with a dull or grayish tone. It has medium sweetness with no bitter taste. It is best used and stored in room temperature as it can rapidly turn into fine or medium-sized crystals when stored in the freezer.
Like many varieties of honey, eucalyptus honey has antibacterial and antifungal properties.
