Peter Darley is a retired consulting engineer and economist who became fascinated by his local railway heritage, since when he founded a charitable trust and a railway heritage trail, led guided walks and published a pocket trail guide to create income for the Trust, built up a list of some 500 supporters of CRHT and wrote a quarterly newsletter,
