Part of the premium 'Apex' series, this edition was matured in ex-red wine casks that had been Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred and filled with the distillery's peated new make spirit. The now familiar STR technique was developed by the late Dr. Jim Swan, consultant and friend to the distillery.
