The Sabor Co.’s single origin Idukki pepper has been ethically sourced straight from a family-owned farm in the Idukki district of Kerala in the South of India.

Harvested less than 12 months ago, this Indian pepper is bursting full of aroma and flavour. ;

This lot is a mixture of Panniyur and Karimunda varieties characterised by high heat levels and a strong peppery taste that lingers on for a long time from the front to the back of the palate.

The Karimunda variety of pepper is a native variety of pepper found in Kerala and the Panniyur variety on the other hand is a high-yielding variety developed at the Panniyur Pepper Research Station in Kerala, India.

The product comes complete with a traceability report providing you with information about the farmer, farm location, harvesting date, and farm inputs.
