This freshly-harvested single origin Salem turmeric has been cultivated in Karuppur, Salem, Tamil Nadu, India by our farmer partner, Mr.Jaganathan who has been farming on his ancestral land for the past 6 decades.

The Salem variety has a curcumin content of 3% on average.

Bright yellow in colour, often referred to by its trade term - Madras turmeric, this variety has a subtle, earthy taste which makes it perfect for everyday cooking.
