About the Authors

Virginia Hein is from Los Angeles, California, and the landscape of the city has always been her favorite subject. She has worked as a concept and character designer for toys and entertainment, and as an art director, illustrator, and fine artist. For twelve years, Virginia taught drawing at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, and currently teaches on-location sketching workshops.
