Victron SmartSolar MPPT 10A Bluetooth Solar Charge Controller Product Features:Bluetooth Smart: Built-in for Easy Solar Management

Experience the ease of wireless setup, monitoring, updating, and synchronising with our SmartSolar Charge Controllers.

VE.Direct: Your Wired Data Connection SolutionFor a seamless wired data connection to a Color Control GX, other GX devices, PC, or other devices.

Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT): Optimise Solar Energy HarvestPerfect for cloudy skies and fluctuating light intensity, our ultra-fast MPPT controller can boost your energy harvest by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers, and up to 10% more than slower MPPT controllers.

Load Output: Avoid Battery Over-dischargeBy connecting all loads to the load output, over-discharge of the battery can be prevented. The load output disconnects the load when the battery reaches a pre-set voltage. Discover our intelligent battery management algorithm for optimal operation.

Battery Life: Intelligent Battery Management for LongevityOur Battery Life algorithm ensures your solar charge controller recharges the battery efficiently, avoiding cycles between a partially charged state and the end of discharge state, which can shorten battery life. Achieve near full recharge about once every week.

Programmable Battery Charge Algorithm: Customisable to Your NeedsExplore the software section on our website for more details about customising your battery charge algorithm.

Day/Night Timing and Light Dimming OptionsFor more information on this feature, please visit the software section on our website.

Internal Temperature Sensor: For Accurate Charge CompensationOur internal temperature sensor compensates absorption and float charge voltage for temperature fluctuations.

Optional External Battery Voltage and Temperature Sensing via BluetoothUse a Smart Battery Sense or a BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor to communicate battery voltage and temperature to one or more SmartSolar Charge Controllers.

Advanced Charging Features of Victron Energy's MPPT Solar Charge Controller****Adaptive 3-Stage Battery ChargingVictron's MPPT Solar Charge Controller utilizes a sophisticated 3-stage charging process, comprising of Bulk, Absorption, and Float stages for efficient battery charging.

Bulk StageDuring the Bulk stage, the solar charger delivers the maximum charge current to rapidly charge the batteries. As the battery voltage gradually increases and reaches the set absorption voltage, the Bulk stage transitions into the Absorption stage.

Absorption StageIn the Absorption stage, the solar charger switches to a constant voltage mode, and the current supplied to the battery slowly decreases. When the current drops below 2A, the charger transitions into the Float stage. The Absorption time is adaptive, short for shallow discharges but longer after deep discharges, to ensure optimal battery recharging.

Float StageThe Float stage maintains the batteries at a reduced voltage, preserving their full charged state. The absence of a storage stage sets our solar charger apart, as it ceases charging at night when there is no solar power.

Flexible Charge AlgorithmThe VictronConnect App provides a choice of 8 pre-set charge algorithms, or alternatively, a fully programmable charge algorithm. Customize the charge voltages, stage duration, and charge current for maximum charging efficiency. A rotary switch can also be used to set 8 pre-programmed algorithms.

Equalization ChargingFor some lead-acid battery types, periodic equalization charge is essential. This process increases the charge voltage above the regular charge voltages for cell balancing. If required, enable equalization charging using the VictronConnect App.
