In a caravan or RV, etc, the supply of cold water is not nearly as reliable as domestic service. Your cold water supply tank can run dry, an outside hose can be unwittingly be discontinued, etc. This can be very dangerous if you are showering at the time. Whilst the hot water heater can be getting its supply from the cold, there may be a reserve of hot water still coming through even if the cold water has stopped. You could get scalded!

The TPG674 is designed to immediately shut off the moment the cold water supply fails. The TPG674 can be adjusted to limit the maximum temperature of the hot/cold water mix as well.

This is a vital safety appliance, especially for children who can scald more easily than adults. 3 connections required, all 12mm Speedfit technology (John Guest) or 3 x 1/2 BSP male.
