The rich, dark berry fruit flavours are very well balanced by the drying tannins from the fruit and the well-integrated oak and gives this wine its great length and persistence of flavour. This is a wine with the depth of fruit and a spicy finish to be enjoyed while still young, but will also reward a few years in the cellar. A lovely balance of fruit and savoury makes this wine a good match with many foods.
