Don’t use shells for longer than 4 hours at a time as milk will expire. Empty the milk from the cups every 2-3 hours max. (2.0 hrs of babies in NICU)

FAQ: Can I wear the milk savers while sleeping?

Answer: No we recommend they are only worn while in the standing position to prevent leaks.

FAQ: Will breast milk collection cups replace a breast pump?

Answer: No, they only catch the leaking milk. They do replace nursing pads though but only should be worn for shorter periods up to 4 hours max.

FAQ: Can I wash the milk savers in the dishwasher or steriliser?

Answer: Yes you can wash our food grade PP breast milk shells in either the dishwasher or use them in the sterilizer. They will slightly lose their transparency a little through use of the steriliser over time which does not affect the use of the shells at all. The option is yours.

FAQ: Are the breast shells the same as a nipple shield?

Answer: No a nipple shield is used for breastfeeding an infant with latching issues to protect the nipple. Our shells can be used on the opposite side while nursing a child using a nipple shield but a nipple shield is a totally different product with a different purpose.
