Woodford Reserve 2021 'Master's Collection' Series No.17 Five Malt Stouted Mash 700ml

This Master's Collection 17th release is their take on crafting a spirit that exhibits the flavours of a classic beer style, in this case a rich, roasted malty stout. Our distillery building was constructed by Irish stonemasons in 1838. That, plus the fact that we distil in the "Irish" style with triple pot stills inspired us to mash and distil an Irish style stout beer."

The Master's Collection series was first launched in 2006 with this Woodford Reserve Five Malt Stouted Mash been the 17th release in the range. It's an exceptionally crafted malt whiskey by Master Distiller Chris Morris a and assistant Master Distiller, Elizabeth McCall.

The expression was created to incorporate the complexity of a hoppy, stout beer with the elegant flavours of delicious malted whiskey. As the name suggests, the expression is a mingling of five different styles of malt - standard distillers' malt, wheat malt, pale chocolate malt, carafa 1 malt, and kiln coffee malt, with the last three malts of dark-roasted origin that will be familiar to homebrew hobbyists. A very limited allocation made it to our Aussie shores and we're offering these up at one per customer.
