This handy little adapter enables the user to convert one end of an RCA cable into a male XLR connection.

Plug a DVD into a powered speaker
This adapter, when used with an RCA cable can be used to plug a DVD player or DJ mixer into a female XLR input. Commonly these inputs are found on powered speakers, or power amplifiers.

NOTE while this adapter can enable a DVD player to be plugged into a mic input on a mixer, it is important to know that most inputs are designed to accept one kind of signal ONLY. Plugging a different strength signal into an input may have undesired outcomes.
