A fine, refreshing style of pinot gris with delicate aromas and beautiful nashi pear characters.

TASTING NOTE
This pinot gris is refined and fresh, with bright fruit aromas and a lovely floral lift. Beautifully textured palate and delicious depth of fruit - with nashi pear and subtle spice. Seamless and refreshing, the wine finishes long and fine.

WINEMAKING
Our pinot gris is planted in Block 2, in a section of the vineyard on sandy clay loam soils, with iron shot stone and light medium clay. The fruit was hand picked on 28 February and whole bunch pressed. The juice was then cold settled and wild fermented with 50% in stainless steel and 50% in old French puncheons (500L). The wine was estate bottled in August 2023. Alc 13%.
