Yangarra Preservative Free Shiraz 2022 6pack 14% 750ml

The 2021 growing season was very favourable with ample Winter rain, a mild flowering and fruit set period, and continued rainfall throughout Spring that resulted in healthy canopy. The cool ripening period that took place between late January and mid-February delayed harvest, though resulted in yields with good balance between vine vigour and moderate berry size. We were very pleased with the fruit ripeness, intensity, freshness and natural acidity.

Expert Review:
James Suckling - 92 points, This is a very pure, super-young style of shiraz that is all about the unadulterated taste of blueberry and red-plum shiraz fruit. Smooth, open-knit and plump, it has no sulphites added - hence the preservative-free acronym. Drink now.

Yangarra Estate is a biodynamic wine farm in the McLaren Vale region in South Australia. The Yangarra philosophy centres around producing wines solely from its single-vineyard estate and the property is devoted to the best grape varieties of the southern Rhone. Yangarra's combination of rare geologies, moderate altitude, abundant sunshine and cool evening breezes make it perfect for growing varieties that thrive in these moderate maritime environments.
