Yellowstone Country
Are you up for a road trip? Ride along the back roads of the vast Yellowstone region and enjoy stunning panoramic photographs that reveal the beauty of Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana and include Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park in all their glory. Embark on an expedition without GPS, visiting majestic wildlife and drinking in fantastic landscapes along the way. Glimpse the emerald green Shoshone Falls in Idaho, turning aspens and grazing moose in the Grand Tetons, black bears roaming the Devil's Tower region in Wyoming, glorious geysers, steamy hot springs, and imposing bison with their young in Yellowstone, the raging Bull River and otherworldly Glacier National Park in Montana, as well as lonely railways and isolated barns along ""gray"" roads, that is, the ones less traveled. The appendix includes a complete list of camera equipment, exposure, and panorama statistics-enough to satisfy even the techiest of photographers. AUTHOR: David Skernick spends as much time as possible traveling, photographing, and teaching workshops along the back roads of America. His goal in life is to drive and photograph every road in the United States. Born in 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio, he received a bachelor's degree in photography in 1977 and moved to California soon after. In 1981 David and his wife, Ria, founded PHOTO 24 to bring his generation of fine art photographers together in a mission to sell nature photographs to corporations and institutions, arguing "everyone would be better off with a little more nature." Recent shows include the LA Photo Show and Photo LA 2015 and 2016 and Photo Independent 2015. His book Lost on Gray Roads was released along with a showing at the ArtLA gallery in Bergamot Station in Los Angeles in 2013. David and Ria reside in Woodland Hills, California, with their dog, Chewy. Visit his website, photo24.com, and contact him directly at . 3 colour photos
